Damn, I was hoping they wouldn't!

Oh well, Rockets wouldn't have landed him anyways.

Efficient centers who get you 15-10 and have a positive defensive impact are hard to find. He would've been much harder to replace than Joe Johnson.

After the Hawks paid Joe Johnson, they would have been crazy to let Al Horford walk. Will be interesting to see how they fare in the East.

If the Rockets had Horford, I think Morey would have extended him.

    Dude is a stud.

Hell, even if he didn't extend Horford, the Rockets obviously would match any offer for him in restricted free agency next summer.

    No brainer.

Noah is not worth the same contract? Double Double last season, 6-11, 25 years old, 2 asts + 1.6 blks.
If he's not worth the contract, find me another guy who's worth it.

If this was a reference towards Brooks, it would be dumb to extend him right now. What is the point of giving him an extension when he really isn't a franchise cornerstone either? Let the market set his price.

We should try to pick up Josh Smith. He can play at the 3 or 4, and he adds shot-blocking, defense, and toughness. What are the Hawks paying him?

Last time Morey let the market set the price for a PG he ended up overpaying for a backup.

Horford is a nice center but would be a great PForward, they need a big man in the middle.

In that case, our future looks worse than our present.
