He probably meant "north Houston". There's one up there somewhere. There's at least one in Dallas that I was going to try years ago but still haven't.

I wish we had one in Houston. I tried them for the first time in the summer when I went to California.

I had given up on fast food burgers with the exception of the occasional whataburger when hung over... But since moving to Austin I've been turned on to Freddies Steak Burgers and frozen custard in Cedar Park. Those burgers and fries rock. My kids like the frozen custard.

I see a lot of P. Terry's out there... It's a little better than Whataburger and it is cheap too...

Same here. Funny thing; Del Taco had good hamburgers.

I remember there was a Del Taco at 290 & Jones Rd; it's now a Whataburger

I like how the OP had to remind us that Houston is the 4th largest city in the USA.

I loved Two Pesos, but then they all became Taco Cabanas which are just bland in comparison. I remember they still had one in Northwest Mall in the mid-to-late-90s but they closed down as well.

I think that was after Taco Cabana won a lawsuit against Two Pesos. The owner just sold his stores to Taco Cabana.

Yeah, I remember that place in NorthWest Mall. They need to tear down that dump and do something with it.

The only store worth going in for NorthWest Mall is Footaction and Chick Fil A. I only go to that mall for Chick Fil A.
