His percentages were much, much better when Martin arrived and he went back to being the 4th or 5th option. Trevor did brick everything in the first half of the season when Rick and Morey tried to turn him into a first option, which is something he's not.

You honestly think Ariza would be any worse than Battier at the point?

Ariza is a good player. You let him be a role player and he does his job. He contributed during the Lakers championship run especially during the playoffs.

He will fit in nicely with Chris Paul and David West.

The whole premise of this thread is idiotic. Ariza can hardly be claimed to be carrying that time to their 3-0 record. In fact, he's doing the same stupid **** there that he was here. Missing free throws, chucking threes, trying to dribble and lose the ball.

So let me get this straight. The Hornets are 3-0 because they got Ariza? Hmm, I wonder why he didn't carry us to a playoffs spot last year.

Man...Lee is usually sitting his *** on the bench. I sure wish we'd play him a bit more. Especially when our back court is getting torn to shreds on defense.

BTW, you guys missed an even more damning evidence of how that trade sucked.

NJ is 2-0 after they got rid of Lee, and the Rockets are 0-3 after they got Lee. Morey has to be the most idiotic GM in the league.

... Wait... Orlando went to the Finals with Lee, and didn't get to the Finals after they got rid of Lee.

Dang, this logic is so brilliant, it confuses me. ;)

Hahaha, dude who dribbles like a 10 year old is the reason his team is off to a 3-0 start (to say nothing of, say, Chris Paul, Belinelli, Thornton, lots of other factors). We desperately miss him because we're 0-3 (to say nothing of Brooks, Lowry, Miller, Yao, etc)! Oh man, now we're talkin'.

I don't hate Ariza in the slightest - in fact, I wish him success. I also with this forum success, and this thread is bursting with failure.

The Hornets 3-0 start is fool's gold.

I must say though, watching Chris Paul's banking runner completely suck the life out of the Spurs crowd and announcer was awesome! The Hornets got a little jittery near the end and almost blew the game.

They will fall back to Earth.

    I promise.

Lee is the curse... Nets went 0-18 last season with him.

That ariza is shooting 39% and 30% from the three. Ariza had one hot post season and made himself a lot of money.

I wouldn't want to get locked in a five-year deal with him.
Ariza might be the better player, but he sure as hell thought he was still a first option even after the Martin trade.

Sorry, I'd still take Lee and Battier over Ariza.

was at the game last night...ariza was getting abused by ginobili and jefferson in that 4th quarter come back last night, too bad cp3 had to save them

yall were right he is horrible when he starts dribbiling the ball he had 2 turnovers when he tried creating something. He had 2 3's in transition, but I think yall got a good deal in lee, but ariza is defintley better than battier imo from what I seen from the rockets and hornets this season.
