Id be seriously surprised if we dont make a move during the season.. I can see Brooks or Lowry, Hill, Battier, and of course Jefferies being moved.. Hopefully for Melo or Iggy.

Yes, but Yao can't jump unfortunately....it sucks, with Yao on the floor, we lose rebounding, so if we aren't feeding the ball to him and utilizing his offense, we're doubly screwed.

However, very troubling to see AB force feeding the ball the Hayes every single freakin' time down the court then wave Yao off in the 4th quarter. WTF??

How much time did Brooks actually spend guarding Billups? I saw him pick up a few fouls against Billups, and then a little later, I noticed that Martin was guarding Billups and Brooks was guarding Afflalo.

    Defense and Pacing.

Billups brings them every, single, night...

Billups dominated Brooks in every aspect of a PG's job.

    Defense, Decision making, Pacing

So just because Yao couldn't get the offensive rebounds, he shouldn't get the ball?
    Wow! idiocy at its best!

I'm not surprised. Scola and Hayes have the mobility to adjust to Brooks' off-target passing. Yao does not.

Controlling the tempo of a game is one of the tangibles of point guard play. You can't just look at the box scores. Billups and Fisher are prime examples of great point guard play in crunch time.

Aaron Brooks = not cut out for PG position in the NBA.

LOL - no, you don't force it into a guy who has difficulty holding position, difficulty making himself a good passing target and is stationary.

And AB did pass it to Yao, Yao got lots of looks.

But Yao is not in shape enough to go to him every single possession, that, my friend would be stupid.

I understand that the ball should go to Yao. I'm just trying to rationalize why Brooks fails to do this.

Does constantly waving off perfectly positioned Yao count as one of these situations?

Yao hit 60% of his shots. Even if you think he got a lot of looks, there was no reason to stop going to him.

In his limited minutes, Yao hasn't looked tired at all. Rusty, yes. Tired? Not even close.

    BULL**** !!!

He was gassed in the Lakers game, he looked better tonight, but he is not in basketball shape.

I like Yao, but this in and out crap is killing this team right now.

He's good enough to make a move and find the open man...which he did on several occasions. And law of averages says just cause you've missed a lot of open shots doesn't mean you should stop taking them. Kobe once said " I don't care about the shot I just missed, but I care about the next one I'm going to take." Look where that philosophy got him. Basically I'm saying I'd settle for an open/semi open three than a Brooks drive and dish to Chuck any day.

Also, I agree about the 24 min- Yao looks like he can easily handle thirty.

No, he didn't look tired to me. You need to compare how he looks at the beginning of a 6 min stretch to how he looks at the end of the 6 minute stretch.

You probably think he was tired b/c he wasn't grabbing every rebound. It should be easy for him, right? After all, he's a giant. But he's not doing it? Must be tired...

And poor perimeter defense has been more detrimental to the team than Yao's situational minutes.
