What year would be the 2nd longest off season ever?

I'd say the year after we got Francis for me...How bout you?

The year when the biggest question all summer long seemed to be whether Shandon Anderson was going to sign or not. Doesn't that seem awfully unimportant and small in hindsight? :)

Agree, but the off-season when we picked up Pip-squeak was long, and the whole season then became a "bad" too long with it.

This is a "good" wait because of the excitement of the new additions.

The longest offseason without a doubt was in between 97-98 and 98-99. Hell, the season didnt even start until the end of January. Nevermind the rest of the season sucked thanks to Pippen.

Well, let's see...last season ended on April 17, and this season begins on October 31st, so that means that this off-season is 203 days long...Now, the season USUALLY begins on the 2nd or 3rd of November so, as far as non playoff seasons go, this is acutally shorter than usual by a day or two...

You know it's been a long offseason when we start debating which offseason has been the longest.

OMG It was crazy! Do we keep Kojis or trade him? McGlocklin sucks and has an attitude problem. And lest we forget how bad San Francisco wanted Pat Riley!

    Whew thank goodness for '67

Next summer will be quite bad. No draft pick (unless we trade for one), no WC's, no Asian games, nothing to relieve the boredom. Nothing.

This is the longest for me due to anticipation...

    Rice?
    MoT?
    Yao?
    Nachbar?
    Tito?
Is Griff vastly improved and will he be used correctly?
KT, MT, Griff, what's the rotation?
    Who emerges at PF?
Is one PF gonna get traded?
    Cato vs. Yao?
Will Cato sulk if Yao starts?
    Is Francis healthy?
Is Francis going to pass more with the new weapons?
Will there be more motion and less isolation (Cat)?

    etc. etc. etc.

BTW, I figured you were jacking with us, but had to rib ya a little.

Well, for me the 2nd longest offseason was last year...but that was only because it was my 1st. I only caught on to the Rockets big time during the preseason of Francis's rookie year. The Webber thing was weird, and the Griff thing was cool. Dream's negotiatons, getting Rice, and Mo's injury were also all apart of it.

Uh...um...that was probably about it...well...Langhi did pretty well in SL...uh...right.

    lmao good point man.

I have to say this year is the longest due to the lack of moves, and anticipation. (did i spell that right?)
