Haha the spot has calmed down a lot. I played a few pick-up games there one day during summer '09 but I haven't been back since. There are a couple of new courts around the Meadows area but I've only driven by them.
Open gym got canceled for me so I should be down. What time have yall been playing at? 3? Should be great weather today to get some games in.
Count me in for 3pm. Have invited 2 others as well to come hoop. Not sure if they are going to make it or not.
I wish I could come. I've got too many game day preparations, and due to a couple recent happenings, I don't know if it's a good idea I come and play with y'all anymore. I need to take a lot more precautions to ensure my safety- playing basketball with people from the internet isn't the safest thing for me to do.
Sorry to hear that rg, unfortunately there are some real lowlifes on the internet and you've become pretty popular here lately. That being said I don't think you have to worry about any of the regulars who show up to play ball, I've known most of those guys for a while now and they're good folk.
I know I don't have to worry about the regulars at all. I trust them. I just FB inboxed you right now which will make this situation a lot more clear.
yeah that sucks - that's why I'm cautious to post info about myself and absolutely no photos. People nowadays are creepers but you are right, everyone who hoops is cool as hell.
I may show up but not sure if I will play. I probably will end up playing just cause of competitive juices. That kinda sucks about rocketgirl. I like playing with her and against her. She was probably a top two top three or four shooter in the game. If I was on her team, I didn't have to worry about shooting. It it makes you guys feel better, I think I'm still a creep. But my intentions are good.
