West is a dirty player. Wafer has a bad attitude, but I never saw him as a dirty player.

Don't know why I have this impression, but when I think of Von in the locker room or on the bus, I imagine a situation where eveyone is just chattin it up and then Von just in the conversation with some awkward comment trying to fit in, and then everyone is like "..... uhh ...."

Someone from the team said they were tired of the altrications he was having with some of the players and that is why they wanted him out of the team.

Von just earned a little more respect in my book. He took the high road, got sucker punched, then gave West a can of "whoop a$$". :)

Maybe they'll blow the Celtics up together. West can spark the match and Von can be the dynamite.

The whole thing was leaked by someone close to Wafer.

Here's Steve Bulpett in the Boston Herald:
And Danny Ainge, from a Julian Benbow article in the Boston Globe

If anyone's in danger of losing their spot on the Celtics it's Wafer, not West. The Celtics have a Lasme and Gallon in Maine. It would not be a shock to see Wafer released after West gets back from suspension, and one of those other guys take his place on the roster.

I'll also add, that it's understandable Rockets fans leaning toward Wafer in this incident, as they're familiar with him and like him. Along the same line, Celtics fans are familiar with Delonte West and are overwhelmingly supportive of him.

Bottom line though(as always) is that West is a superior player, and that almost always wins out.

I was always hoping that the police never stopped West when he was riding around town with those guns on his back. Maybe he would have gotten in a shootout and died, who knows.

I might be bias towards Wafer, but from all the reports it just seems like West is being a pompous douchebag.
