    Actually, what he said is funny. Why in the hell would the media call some UPS Store in Austin as if it had some sort of insightful commentary on the whole issue? It's comical that they'd even try, as B-Bob mentioned.

    While the SITUATION is not funny, the stupidity of KVUE trying to get a comment about something so sophisticated from a local retail store IS kind of funny.

    Edit: I see B-Bob and others already did a better job than me at explaining it to you :p

    Obama: 'A credible terrorist threat against our country'

    President Obama said Friday that investigators discovered explosive materials in packages sent from Yemen and bound for synagogues in Chicago, calling it "a credible terrorist threat against our country."

    The U.S. "is taking this threat very seriously," Obama said in the White House briefing room.

    "We will continue to pursue additional protective measures," Obama said, as well as any "connection to additional terrorist plotting."

    White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan said two packages with explosive materials have been identified, and "they have been isolated."

    Brennan said he did not know whether this was an attempted attack, or a dry run for a future attack. He also said he did not know whether the al-Qaeda terrorist group based in Yemen was involved, but he noted that it has been "open in its venom for the United States."

    "We are going to get the bottom of this plot," Brennan said.

    We got a pretty good deal on ours and it was MBE before. My friend who is actually running it has worked their for 10 years and the guy who owns it is retiring. This year is our transition period so it has worked out pretty nicely and UPS has been relatively easy to work with. However, I have heard some stories about how UPS/MBE isn't afraid to let new owners get in way over their head and can put them in some pretty bad situations.

    I wouldn't be investing in this business if I didn't have a friend with so much experience and knows what is garbage and what isn't. UPS/MBE certainly does try to push some bs new programs so I know where you are coming from.

    Just curious, did you sell your store or just not renew your agreement with UPS and go independent?
