Any word on whether or not Clinton told him to fetch some coffee for him too?

Well did he pantomine Meek to quit? As I said without more context we are speculating on the nature of Clinton's statement. The most likely explanation is what it says that he didn't ask Meek to quit. Now he might've implied that Meek should but without more info we can't say for sure.

Again - you're misreading it. The article did not say what you're thinking it said. It simply said Clinton didn't answer the question.

It seems to me like you are reading more into that than is necessarily there. You might be right but that he didn't answer the question doesn't mean for sure that he told Meek to drop out. Meek said Clinton didn't ask him to and Clinton didn't contradict him. We know that as a fact.
