What's gonna happen to Hill now?

Wasn't he due for a breakout season this year?

Also, I see another move coming if this goes down.

Good job Rox front office. Just what we needed.

This will definitely help our interior and overall team defense when Yao sits out back to backs or is on the bench and we want a defensive match-up.

Is he in shape? We'll see how it plays out, but I think it can only help long term.

    When does Lowry come back?

Looks like Hill will be riding the pine once again.

And to think, he was a top 8 lotto pick.

    Urgh!

I think we have the largest Center rotation in the history of the NBA /billwalton

Yao playing 24 minutes for 61 or so games a season
Miller playing 15 min a game
Dampier playing 15 min a game
Hayes playing 5 min at center a game (he's noticeably improved his offense this year and is still as good on D)

Has any team ever had a 4 man center rotation?

Hopefully he can go on to become the 2nd best center of this team. :p

Hayes will move to PF. Or at least I think.

I'm guessing Hayes slides back to his natural position of PF.

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Lee
    Battier/Budinger
    Scola/Hayes/Jeffries
    Yao/Dampier/Miller

Cut JT or Ish Smith, and send Hill to RGV. Or, dump JJ, and keep Hill at the end of the bench...

Good point, how credible has this source been in past CF's opinions?

Hill will be good as the 4 with Brad Miller in the second unit. He can help with the rebounding and above the rim plays.

Hayes should only be played in special defensive situations.

They should waive JT as he is unlikely to get any playing time at all.

When Celtics get Perkins back and if Sheed reports back to them you could see a rotation of Perk/Shaq/Jermain O'neal/Rasheed.

When Yao can't play, and we're matched up with small teams like the Warriors or teams with 3-pt shooting Centers, who else but Chuck can match up with them? I think he'll play heavy minutes those nights.

Dampier's defensive presence will help this team. Good addition.
