I can't believe nobody mentioned Emeka Okafor.

The guy's stats are steadily dropping from a ROTY statline of 15 ppg and 10 rebounds

I usually like your sense of humor, but this was a bit too much for me.

Man, you are on a roll lately for saying insensitive things about people's death.

    Spencer Haywood was good one.

I have one who was spectacular and a college legend, even played on the First Dream Team . . .

Christian Laettner, his best season was his rookie season with not trailing to far behind his first year in Atlanta. The guy was like Pau Gasol at his best (not quite as tall or reached his peak like Gasol), but he was much more clutch, though.

Earl Monroe, his first two seasons were the best when he was pretty amazing to watch.

    Kenny Walker, Former Knick

Not his best season, but Wilt Chamberlain's rookie season eclipses all the other top NBA scorers and rebounders who have ever played the game, except Elgin Baylor who only played 48 games in the season he average 38 ppg. 37.6 ppg and 27 rebs.

The patron saint of this thread lies in major league baseball . . . Mark Fidrych.
