With PPT, we would have been:

    1-1
    0-2
    2-0

    I say 2-0.

2-0. He would have guarded that open Steve Blake 3, and Curry would have been forced to put up more rushed shots. True story...

    2-0.

Besides the perimeter defense, he would've kept the ball moving in the 3rd quarters of both games when instead we started playing too much 1-on-1 with AB and K-mart and forcing a lot of shots. Not knocking K-mart because he was getting to the line, but between the two of them nobody else was getting involved during these 3rd quarter stretches.

Kyle makes our 2nd unit go, he would have helped stem the tide in both games where our 2nd units gave up the lead, or could not stop the opponent.

And it would have allowed AB to get some rest against the Lakers so he was not so gassed against GS.

Lowry is very important to this team......we can survive an injury pretty much anywhere but we can not do without AB and KL...they are the most vital guys on the team.

2-0. It's funny how Kyle is so critical to our success, but he doesn't start. The same way Landry was.

With Lowry playing, i believe it will 2-0 easilly. It was Aaron Brooks that let Blake making both 3s that ignite the initial comeback.

With Lowry playing in Golden State, at least he make it tough for Curry.

2-0 and not because of just the defense

the lakers especially and also the warriors got a lot of second chance points on long rebounds, kyle is an exceptional rebounding guard and would have gotten some of those rebounds and stopped the other team from having more possessions while giving the rockets more possessions themselves.

at least we finally get to see him play on saturday against the nuggets.

all things being considered being the only 0-2 team right now sucks but its not the end of the world

I say 0-2 still.... Everyone seem to think Lowry is the defensive player of the year are something. Lowry a great defender but if Battier, Martin, Lee and our front court couldn't stop Monta then I dont think lowry would have made that much of a difference. Curry made tough on the run shots that not even lowry could stop. As for the Lakers game the team got beat as a whole. They lost the game from missed layups, REBOUNDS, TURNOVERS and being out of position on defense.

Lowry is the best PG in rebounding based on 36 minutes stats and he rarely TO. He also does a heck of job on preventing most PG from blowing past him and he can defense some SG, thus allowing KM to occasional guard non-scoring PG's.

Lowry guarding Monta Ellis = game over.

    For Golden State.

We likely would have one game 1, possibly could have one game two if kyle was able to slow down monta. They won because they were on fire, our defense looked bad at times, but for the most part, we contested shots and made our rotations. So adding Kyle may not have won us that game, but I believe he would have been valuable in the LA game off the bench instead of Ish

I understand all that, but I still dont think Lowry would have made a difference on Monta..the way he was scoring over BATTIER, MARTIN, LEE & even hitting jumpers over JEFFRIES.

    None of this matters...

As long as we're missing Brian Cook.
