Everyone knows that Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are the only players allowed to sit out back-to-backs. (Sorry Yao ) It wouldn't hurt having Miller sit out back-to-backs, but the question is WHY?
Give Hill some playing time already!!! I kinda agree with the OP. We have enough talent for two lineups. We should roll with this: Against Big teams like Lakers: Yao-Miller Scola-Hill or Hayes Battier-Budinger(need his offense for 2nd team) Martin-Lee Brooks-Lowry Bench(in order of possible PT): Hayes or Hill, Jefferies, Smith, Taylor, Patterson For Faster Team like GS or when Yao is out: Scola-Hill Hayes-Jefferies Battier-Budinger Martin-Lee Brooks-Lowry Bench(in order of possible PT): Miller(if opp has slower bigs), Taylor, Smith, Patterson, Yao(sitting) IMO- Yes Hayes has drastically improved his offense and deserves time since he was already a defensive stopper. But he is height deficient and Hill and Jefferies could help us more in certain matchups. Battier's defense is lacking, but needs to be a starter still since our bench needs Bud for scoring.
It is a good idea to complete Rockets joke. We might have to hire a female coach because we need more babysitting.
