agreed .. if they use CGI its going to take away from the film. THe first one was shot with such realism and beauty and made me a huge fan of fighter jets..

if its CGI then HELL NO to this project. But it sounds like some of the people funding the project are avid aviators and fans so I doubt they would want to use CGI

I think I'd rather see a "The Great Santini 2". Robert Duvall was awesome in that. Of course, he won't be reprising his role (a cameo maybe?).

I guess this remake wouldn't have enough popular appeal to make it a viable project. Damn.

I pretty much hate watching most movies because most movies suck, but for some reason I like this one... as cheesy as it is. That being said, time has not been kind to Val Kilmer and Kelly McGillis (I think she's lesbian now... maybe she was then, too... not that there's anything wrong with that).

They should leave this classic alone. They don't need to make a sequel. HOWEVER, if they do make one, I'd pay to go see it.
