Good effort. I am hopeful. Lowry was missed.

Brown and Blake, who we should pay more attention to. After Kobe's back, things will get worse.

Going to have to play Ish more, I think Brooks was tired near the end of the game didn't seem as explosive.

I really feel if we had Lowry we'd win this game. Brown wouldn't have just gone off like that, that was really the turning point in the game.

Overall, a good game. All rockets played hard; especially Scola.

While the loss hurts after playing so well in the first 3 quarters I really liked what I saw from the team tonight. Should cause every team in the league major issues this year.

Over the past couple of years, when we play the Lakers in the regular season, they always break our hearts in the 4th.
Perhaps, in my eyes, the crucial stretch was when Martin sat so long, killed us. The Lakers came storming back then.
Yao was about what I expected in his 24 mins., the basketball gods wouldn't allow more.
Battier, can't give the team anything on the O...and his defense is debatable.
And Scola...I can't even go into it.

Oh well...rip it up and throw it away.
    On to Golden State.

Yao sux he will never be a superstar his career is just about done

AM do not know how to coach late in the game & he leave the tired guys in & does not put in the fresh guys

Look at tonight scola missed 9 shots before he made one he should have sit out the rest of the game

Yao & AM need to go

Agreed, the play wasn't bad at all. Should have reminded Brooks to get the ball up on the glass quick, though! He had enough room but Brooks probably a bit nervous-didn't feel confident going for a quick release type of shot

    LVP --> Brad Miller

Turnovers, bad defense, no offense...just that one good pass that the announcer made much too big a deal about.

Oh well. I think if we had Kyle Lowry it would have been a different outcome. Still satisfied with our effort

I thought Miller played well. Outside of a few nice defensive possessions against Gasol, Hayes was mostly ineffective. Maybe Hill could have gotten some of his PT and it would have made a difference, but that's with hindsight.

A fresher Brooks/a Kyle Lowry and this is a different ballgame.

I think it started a bit earlier with Blake's back to back 3's to pull them within 5 right before the 3rd quarter ended... after that everything started going downhill

At least we know 1 thing, even if the Rockets wanted to sit Yao. The refs will make sure Yao is out within his 24 minutes on phantom calls.

Watching that replay Kobe was NOT passing to Steve Blake he made a terrible pass to Gasol that went to Blake.

We got really really unlucky tonight.....

I mean Shannon Brown and Steve Blake are not going to beat you often.

And we missed at least TWENTY 1 foot shots....

I think we beat the Lakers the rest of the year.

My only worry about tonight is the hangover tomorrow.

stop and think before you post...the rockets didnt spend 5 mins looking at a clipboard not to draw up a play. It was obvious that was play called or an option.

    1. Still cant close...blew 14 pt lead
    2. Kmart cant guard still.
    3. Lakers are lucky as shizz
    4. We can still go 81-1
    5. I wanna see Hill get a few mins...i think he could of slowed lamar down a bit, especially when Scola was goin cold in the middle of the 4th.
