i don't know why you keep acting like an inside presence on offense is so important for the heat, considering the team they are playing has pretty much been the poster child for winning with a bunch of jump shooters and no inside offensive player. and lebron misses his 2nd 1 foot floater in this game. the heat will be lucky if someone doesn't spontaneously combust on the bench at some point.
james just gotta stop passing b/c he's turning it over like crazy. he's getting a rhythmj so he just needs to try to score every time.
that was why they went all the way to te finals last year and should have won it: their defense is superb. what they need is consistent offense. ray and paul disappear too much in the playoffs.
bosh actually played better than dwight howard on the redeem team. what tourney were you watching? of course, of the big 3, he was definitely the one to worry about in terms of handling all of this. so far, he looks like jamison or rashard lewis going against garnett in the playoffs last year - intimidated. and now big baby is making turn around fadeaways over 7'3 centers.
I never ever ever thought I'd root for Boston. I hate Boston, but good golly damn they show that team-play beats individual skill any day.
Spoelstra saying he can't play Wade/Lebron/Bosh at the same time? Lebron looks more comfortable running with the scrubs. I guess it feels like home. I think Wade is next to run with the scrubs so there is no question who the number one option is at any given moment.
let's get this straight. wade is NOT gonna suck like a scrub out there. him playing better would make the heat like 3-4 points behind right now. wade is sucking so bad right now.
The problem is that the Heat are lacking BOTH inside and 3 point shooters. You have to be either great inside or great at the 3 point line. The Cavs last year had no inside game, but they had 3 point shooters. The Celtics have the 3 point shooting and are great defensively in the paint. The Heat don't have 3 point shooters, don't have inside scorers and don't have paint defense...they're screwed against zone defense.
he is playing to win. wade hasn't played all preseason and looks too rusty. bosh is sitll soft. james himself can win a game so spoelstra is trying to do that
why does marv albert always call 3's from the wing a "tough angle" shot. it would seem like baseline would be the tough angle.
