This is exactly what he's suited for: teaching players the mental aspect of the game - the Biggio/Bagwell mantra "how to play the game the right way"; let someone else stare at video and tinker with mechanics.

I'm just glad he didn't get a chance to instill his post-season choke-o-matic approach to our young club.

I will never forget the post-season Choker B's who broke my heart year after year.
