I guess Korheiser was trying to say that Lebron was trying to say MJ was an ahole, as evidenced by his hall of fame speech, and everyone still loves him. Thats why he scoffs after he asks "do you really think I hurt my legacy"...Maybe?
Isn't there some glitch on Youtube where the counter stops in the 300 then later it actually starts to show the actual view count. More people have watched it then the counter currently states
Anybody who thinks that the hall of fame scene referenced MJ needs to think a little harder about it. MJ basically roasted a bunch of people in a crowded room with a lot of fanfare going on; it looked nothing like what was in the commercial. The scene in the commercial references the idea that LeBron's legacy is forever ruined, meaning that his hall of fame induction is meaningless and that nobody respects him (which is why nobody is there).
No matter how he spins it, he's a douche, a giant one at that. You don't wanna be a role model? Play in Europe. You don't want your fans to hate you? Don't switch teams with some long weak ass ESPN special. What do we expect you to do? Nothing, you're a douche, but the question still begs to be answered: do you expect us to respect you when you act like a child? What should we do? Condone your actions? Ignore them? We don't get some dumb ad asking you these questions...
lol @ the narcissism. self defeating concept. if he didn't care, he wouldn't make a multi-million $ commercial. pathetic.
Nike makes freaking awesome commercials. That was a perfect way to respond to the criticisms. With that said... Lebron James you should not be a narcissistic douchebag. You should never stage a one hour special when it will undoubtedly kill Cleveland fans. You should never seriously refer to yourself in the third person. And you should never take your talents to south beach.
see this was an unreal commercial even by today's standards it is better than this crap they try to shovel at us. In the end... it is all about putting a round ball in a hoop like Charles says. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nMzdAZ3TjCA?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nMzdAZ3TjCA?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
It was a well thought out commercial for Nike, but ehh I still can't stand/don't like Lebron. I honestly really couldn't stand him in Cleveland, but I did respect him. Now, its pretty much like f**k him. When you have NBA legends bashing you for what you did, you are a douche. Nuff said.
He was happy and dancing in the sidelines, because he was the most popular player, and he was the media darling, now that he has made wrong decisions, and more people hate him, he feels like the victim, and tries to defend himself because everyone is crticizing him.
Yeah but people dont exactly choose to be role models. Celebs especially. Celebs are public figures that many young people will look up to. It doesnt matter if they want to be one or not. They are. Should they be? It depends...
wow.... cleveland fans are like a bad ex that cant get over a breakup. i know lebron isnt crying any tears
a great ad, still doesn't excuse the way he left and the pain that caused the cavs fans, yeah i know the argument they don't matter, but for me passion and emotion in following your team is a big thing, although it will be gone soon
