Okay, so I'm about to buy tickets to the Rockets Pacers game... and I'm trying to decide if I should sit in the 17th row behind the Rockets bench... or if I should sit in the 10th row on the opposite side of the arena across from the Pacers bench.

Which would you choose... price is about the same.

I'd go with behind the Rockets bench myself.

I would go with the 10th row. At the 17th row, it doesn't really matter that you are behind the Rockets bench, you don't see anymore than you normally would. 10th row is closer to the court and therefore better seats

I'd go with the 10th row. Closer to the action. Unless you really really want to take photos of the Rockets bench...

I should have made this a poll ;)

I do want to take pics of the bench, but I like the idea of being closer to the court too. Thus my dilemma.

I'll wait for a few more people to post their opinion. But I'm leaning toward closer to the action.

I'd go with behind the bench. Since you don't live in Houston, you don't get to see the Rockets in person often. Sitting behind the bench, you can get their attention- especially your UK boys. A wave, eye contact, or a smile from a Rockets player is worth the 7 row difference to me.

Behind the Rocket bench. You'll be closer to the guys you came to see. You really don't want to spend that much money to end up staring at the Pacer's bench warmers.

Is this for the game in Houston? If so, are you paying more than face for either one?...might be able to get you a better deal..for 6th row center court...

he said 17th row behind the bench. Behind the rockets bench would be ideal, but being that high up, it will make very little difference

If you're talking about the Toyota Center, you wouldn't be wrong with either.

You can get autographs and pictures with the players before the game plus you're closer to the game. It would be the Pacers though. My seats are close to this section.

Behind the bench is alright. The guys look in 118 because that's where the families/friends sit. Doubt you get any type of acknowledgement though unless you have a creative sign sitting 17 rows back.

Yeah I'll be in Indy... it's a bit of a drive for a game in Houston. :)

I decided to go with row 10 on the opposite side of the court. I figure my brother and Dad will wear UK and I can maybe force my sister in law to wear one of my other jerseys or a Rockets sweatshirt. I have a Lowry and a Chuck home that she could wear.

I, of course, will be sporting away 44 ;)

10th row, you have a better chance of hearing what's going on the court than 17th, plus better view.
