I'll admit that I am a bit underwhelmed by Courtney Lee.

I'll still take him over Ariza every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I agree with B_C in one regard -- Shane Battier. When his contract is up, I would love to see Shane become one of Adelman's assistants because, IMO, the best part of his career wiill be as a head coach. I hope he remains with the Rocket organization as long as Rudy T.

Shane is playing better this year because he is not hampered by injury. Even so, he should be backing up Chase Budinger, rather than vice versa. Also, there is a lot of Jeffries hate, but IMO he is a solid backup at three positions because of his versatility, height and athleticism.

my c.lee and AB concern is that both were mentored by RAFER,I see flashes of rafer in them. Jeffries is buried in the bench. Shane plays with his tail between his legs

Last year Brooks was playing for a contract extension so he went balls out to score as much as possible. Plus Yao was out this helped Brooks hog the ball.He got his MIP and wanted contract extension. Didnt get it. Hes mad.

Now hes playing to impress teams for a massive contract. Teams like Kings that could offer him 10 mil . The Rockets wont match because that would be 17 mil tied up on pg's.

To get that 10 mil, Brooks has to score as much as possible.

He isnt passing , a couple of assists isnt getting him paid. Scoring 20ppg will.

Hes a sg stuck in a pg body. Just like Francis.

I know Adelman likes Brooks, but Adelman is praising Ish now,and praised Lowry last year. Morey calls the shots here not Adelman.

    Brooks + Battier for Iggy.

    Brooks for caspi + whiteside

I like Lowry alot more than Battier. Battier needs to be replaced with either Budinger or iggy. If I was coach I wouldnt play Battier. I would start Bud then have Lee be the 6th man to rotate lee/martin/bud at the sg/sf.

When this team loses games with brooks "taking over" then everyone will see what I see now. I wasnt impressed at all by brooks or lee or battier in the preseason.

No way you trade Brooks and Battier for Iggy. Lowry and Iggy is a nightmare from outside LOL.

Only way I trade Brooks is if we get back Melo, Granger or maybe Wallace.

    You really think so?

He has lost a step on the defensive end and isn't hitting his 3's like he used to.

He's declining whether you agree with me or not.

I find it funny people are still think Brooks will be the first PG Houston would try to ship out. Given his recent string of injuries, I'm thinking if a trade goes down, unless it is for Melo and the Knicks pick isn't part of the deal, Lowry will probably be the one shipped out.

Welcome to the forum that is dominantly inspired by testosteronic ideas whateverthatmeans.

To Brian Chapman, if you think Brooks is a ball-stopper, you really should really see a doctor.

Courtney Lee has played here less than a month, and the season hasn't even started.

Brooks is running the offense decently and is one of our best scoring threats.

Jared Jefferies is here by contract value, but he hasn't been terrible either.

Please give the team a month into the season before you post such garbage.

    Carry on...

Anyone who thinks Brooks is a ballstopper obviously didn't pay attention to the Steve Francis era. Now that's some real ball-stopping. Brooks, by comparison, has been quite willing to move his balls.

Nene is the best and only player in the league at moving his ball.
