If your watching tv and you see an annoncement on Sportscenter and it's reported saying specifically, "the heat/magic preseason game is cancelled when we come back we will tell you why." You don't have to sound like you talking about rocket science to explain that... it's just said. It is what is and like said go surf the net make a wikipedia about yourself being so bright if it would make you feel better. My goodness we are talking about sports people.

No, just post the link. It's not that difficult to post some details. Why are you posting here? To talk to yourself? If not then you need to explain what you're talking about to the other people. And you'd think when people are trying to give you good advice on how to be a better member of the community, you'd just accept it graciously, rather than being a jackass about it.
Ah c'mon, they shuld of let them play on the slippery floor, or better yet on the ice! That would have been fun! And it's not like any of the good players play a significant amount of time in preseason anyway! What's wrong with seeing some bench warmers sliding around?

I agree that the OP should give more details. Its like saying: Thread title: Carmelo Anthony got traded then in the first post says: Wow! I didnt like that trade at all!! Stupid GM. So people would want to know the details of the trade, and they have to do a search about it.
Look, when people start a thread they usually have a purpose for it, either they want to spread info around or they want to discuss with other people regarding various topics. Your OP didn't even have any background info at all, how are the people who open supposed to have an idea what its about? Since you just saw it on tv you didn't have to post a link, however you should have written at least WHY the game was canceled. If you think that's too much work then you shouldn't have started a thread in the first place SMH.
