    I more or less agree.

There's no reason to play Jeffries, he sucks.

Lee is trying to do too much as of right now. I'm not sure whether it's him trying to prove something or the team asking him to do a little more. He's simply not very good creating for himself or others. What he excels at is playing defense, moving without the ball, coming of screens and spotting up. I'm sure they'll figure it out sooner or later. Him, Budinger and Lowry compliment each other very well and make for an awesome second unit.

I'm not worried about Brooks. I thought he played well so far.

Whether or not the team needs an upgrade at the 3 remains to be seen I think. There just isn't a big enough sample (yet) to say this team needs an upgrade to compete. Once this team has played about 40 games we'll know and by then the trade dead line is near and thats when you want to make a deal anyways.

I actually was a little worried about Martin being a ball stopper early on, but it like he gets better at it game by game. They'll still have to work on pick&rolls with Martin though. I often seems like he doesn't even want a screen which confuses the big setting the pick and mostly results in a bad possesion.

You don't have to tell Morey how to do his job. He knows what he is doing.
Just leave it to the professionals.

Damn. The no-edit function is killing me.

I probably should check for errors before posting. Sorry for that.

    Anyways, regarding my post:

who are we going to get that produces as much as AB for what he makes?

i agree with Jeffries, he needs to go and probably will. i'm sure Morey will net us someone for that contract.

There's times where I feel insignificant to the world, not because I am dissatisfied with who I am or what I've done; but, to think of how large the universe is.

Who am I to think I am going to change anything in it? It's only a fair question for anyone.

Then I find people like brian_chapman and realize that it's not so bad. There are things and people less significant than I.

It puts my mind at ease.

That's my zen of the day.

how about tayshaun prince. i haven't heard his name come up in any trading talks. he may be 30 yrs old, but still an uprgrade over battier. his defense is very good and he can shoot very good. plus he is athletic and can finish. i would trade battier for prince in a heartbeat

Wow, you are insane. You think trading Brooks+Lee+Battier+Jeffries for Nash makes us better?? What are you smoking?

You're complaining about Brooks, who Adelman essentially orders to take a shot when he has an open look. Lee is erratic because it's his first preseason with the team - the jury is still out, and will be for another while. Jeffries won't play enough to be a ballstopper.

I think we need to tweak the definition of ballstopping, because it doesn't mean 'taking more than 5 shots per game'.

    Dear Clutch,

Please trade Brian Chapman for something of equal value.....say maybe the mole on an orangutan's ass. That may be asking for too much in return.

Is useless truth worth being preached?

-Jeffries isn't going to remain a Rocket past June guaranteed, probably February.

-Brooks will have the season to prove he's worth a contract or he isn't going to be around like Jeffries.

-Lee is coming from being a primary scoring option as a starter to the primary scoring option as a role playing backup. It will take time for him to make the transition, 5-7 games isn't going to do it, hence Chapman's current criticism of Lee may have some truth but is useless because it's only current. No one's foolish enough to think that Lee's game can't fit in with what the Rockets want to do. 20 games into the season, Lee will be a great asset.

I greatly dislike this kind of post. No need to be humiliating. Respond with arguments, not crass.

only thing i agree with you on this whole thread is that courtney lee has a history and reputation of being a well known choke artist in the nba. that was the main reason why i was mad that we traded for him. his dunks are pretty cool though, and thats about the only thing i like about his game. his dunks over other people are sick though, and he should try to dunk as much as possible instead of shooting layups, because its a good chance he'll probably missed those in the clutch.
