There are some really nice paper lanterns/lamps you can buy. I really regret not picking up one of these while over there. They're beautiful and distinctly Korean.
thanks i've put both of these on my to-do list........do you know if the 4D movie theaters have the audio in english?
fade thanks for all this info......you should be a part-time writer for Lonely Planet! do you think this play Nanta is okay for non-Korean speakers? also, i've already booked a hotel in Yeoksam-Gangnam but i'll be sure to check out Insadong
Do not look like a news reporter and get yourself lost up north. The consequnces is high. Just saying
The play Nanta is definitely okay for non-Korean speakers. I haven't seen it since 5 years, but if I remember correctly, you do not need to know any Korean at all.
Yeah, I don't even think they speak at all, aside from a few words... which are in English! "Cabbageeeee!! Oniooooooooon!!" It's pretty much all action and gestures.
Yeah, they stopped offering the Kumgangsan mountain tour after that incident where someone got killed. I think it's closed off permanently now. Must have been a great experience for you being in the North.
