    There are some really nice paper lanterns/lamps you can buy. I really regret not picking up one of these while over there. They're beautiful and distinctly Korean.

    do you think this play Nanta is okay for non-Korean speakers?

    also, i've already booked a hotel in Yeoksam-Gangnam but i'll be sure to check out Insadong

    The play Nanta is definitely okay for non-Korean speakers. I haven't seen it since 5 years, but if I remember correctly, you do not need to know any Korean at all.

    Yeah, I don't even think they speak at all, aside from a few words... which are in English!

    "Cabbageeeee!! Oniooooooooon!!"

    It's pretty much all action and gestures. :)

    Yeah, they stopped offering the Kumgangsan mountain tour after that incident where someone got killed. I think it's closed off permanently now. Must have been a great experience for you being in the North.
