looks like Mark Cuban is on the Mavs. Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is on their cover. Michael Jordan is another owner who made the cover. Chris Crossed is pretty funny on the Hornets. Poor Timberwolves frozen in ice. Do not like the Kings one at all. That doesn't flow with the rest of the covers.
seriously 11th. i must have a warped opinion of how this season is going to go. because i see this team a lot better then 11th. crazy
I dig the marvel and nba comparisons! Weapon Y, our ultimate weapon of choice this season (and hopefully a few more after a contract adjustment).
Some of the teams got seriously shafted in those covers. The Kings, the Cavaliers and the Nuggets spring to mind.
Nope. They think we are eleventh in the West. Which means they believe we are worse than last year. We finished ninth and with Denver and the Suns likely getting much worse they think we'll still finish two places lower than last season. Everyone knows ESPN is full of it though so what do we care.
I really dislike using Captain America imagery on the Heat cover. Even Lebron admits pissing off way more of the national crowd than he expected. That's hardly the All-American vibe the Capt. is beloved for.
lol @ clippers. blake griffin hasent played a regular season game yet and hes getting called the incredible griff.
You can find all of them in their original size, here. http://espnmediazone3.com/rs/pages/search.php?k=97aa969f8a&search=!collection1943&offset=0&order_by=relevance&sort=DESC&archive=0
Looking at the Rockets cover in hi-res... can anyone tell who the 2 figures are next to the giant tube? Just random or someone in mind?
Great link. Thanks. Apparently, the order in which each team appears in the layout equates to their predictions for final seeding. And they have the Rockets 11th - behind Clips, Griz, Suns, Hornets, Spurs & Trailblazers et al. Eleventh and with a headline that says, 'Yaouch!'
