Because of a condition where my cornea doesn't heal properly, I'm going to need PTK to fix it. I'm thinking of getting Lasik or PRK for both of my eyes to fix that and my vision. Any good recommendations in Austin?
I went to Lasik Plus at Research & 360 a few years ago and was very pleased with the results. http://www.lasikplus.com/lasik-center/lasik-austin.asp
I can recommend that guy as well, although he's not the most personable. Ahhh...sex is so much better without the possibility of offspring.
This is the surgeon who did my catarac surgery, which left me with 20-20 vision. Actually, slightly better than 20-20, when taking a test with both eyes open. One came out at 20-15 and the other 20-25. That's a fantastic result, folks, and I had 20-400, with pretty bad astigmatism. While my operation was for cataracs, I would be shocked if he wasn't just as good with the various forms of lasik. Dr. Todd is young (for what he does... he says that my significant other, who's a patient, reminds him of his mother, which pisses her off, but she still loves the guy, lol!) and a great guy. Very friendly, with a great bedside manner. Here's the info: Eye Institute Austin 3300 W. He can take care of any eye problem. My SO is seeing him for glaucoma, and she's doing great. Both my kids see him. The clinic is on West Anderson, by MOPAC. The same strip center that has Satay Restaurant, the Thai place. Check him out! PS: This isn't a chain of clinics. This is the real deal, folks.
I had catarac surgery like Decard did 2 years ago they did one eye then another eye 2 weeks later. One little needle in the back of your hand and your out 20 minutes later your good. I could see stuff amazingly well the same day. I used DR Mayo. DD you are not a wimp and your insurance will pay for a lot of it.
