wait, wait, wait... being the only victim over an unprecedented 64-game stretch is somehow supposed to make us feel bad, and you better? f'ing cowboy fans... they can't even figure out to run smack.
To tell you the truth, you can beat us all you want. Beating the Texans is not the Cowboys biggest concern. Winning titles is our biggest concern, and last I checked we still have 5 NFL Titles, and Houston has how many? So if beating America's Team is your ultimate goal then by all means beat us every time because seeing Jerry Jones hold up that Lombardi Trophy will make it all better.
Woah. Wait a minute. You're using # of championships as your smack talk argument against an expansion team in its first year? Geez. How desperate can you get?
I'm not trying to talk smack, but I'm sure he meant Houston as a whole, not just the Texans. This would include the Oilers with the Texans. (well, actually just the Oilers.) In that case, Houston is behind. (just giving my view of his post.)
Damnit RC stop talking like you are scared. Have a point of view and express it how it is. You have to put those Texans fans in their place.
Hey, I hate to break it to you, but if you believe that Jerry Jones, whom had all of 12 months experience in football period, needed to recognize that Troy was a better talent than Steve Walsh, then you have been falling for Jerry propaganda for years. The fact Jerry was able to convince you of that is a key reason why Jimmy left. It was a joke! Everyone in the US knew that other than, it appears, some blindly loyal Cowboys fans. Jimmy drafted Steve with the sole purpose of playing him and making him look like a legit NFL quarterback, so he could swindle some picks out of another team that was desperate. Jimmy crafted the Herschel Walker trade. Are you going to seriously try to take the position that Jerry had anything to do with that? The reason he did not make it happen in Miami, like he did in Dallas, was the other teams wised up to his method of dealmaking and they got tired of always looking like the stupid one on the other end of a Jimmy deal. So, they became very very carefull in doing any deals with him. Hence no super team like he built in Dallas. There have been many methods of gathering information about the NFL over the years, and I believe I have done more "research" other than listen to whatever Jerry or some Jerry supporter out of Dallas tells me. The friction between them and what was behind it was very well publicized. There was a lot of information on what happened that either you never attained or flat out just did not want to believe. I can understand not wanting to believe it because, if what people like me say is true... you are screwed as a Cowboys fan and likely to never see Jerry hold up the trophy again. Twenty years from now you will be talking about how your team still has those five championships. As for Emmit, dude, maybe you don't remember this but the Cowboys were quite stunned he was there. When you are surprised someone falls to you, you move away from what you had anticipated doing and take him.
How many years has it been since your Cowgirls won a title? How many players still play for the Cowgirls were on those championship teams? How many years have the Cowgirls been rebuilding? You're living in the past man. The Cowgirls have about as much chance of winning a super bowl in the next 2 or 3 years as the Texans and that's pretty pathetic considering were an expansion team.
Sorry, but I don't want to talk trash to anyone. Especially in a Houston Texans forum. Lets say I joined in and said "Texans suck, we'll beat you 70-9. GO COWBOYS!" Well, I'd be pretty mad when people brought those quotes back. Then I'd get mad and when they lose, I'd make a thread talking smack about their loss. Then they'd do the same when the Cowboys lose. And then... Wait, lets just say I don't like talking smack.
And yet you guys keep refering to Week 1. We're going into Week 3 already. Seems like you guys are the one's living in the past.
You guys must REALLY hate doing research. In case you didn't know Jerry also played Division I football so he obviously had more than 12 months experience. "Jimmy drafted Steve with the sole purpose of playing him and making him look like a legit NFL quarterback, so he could swindle some picks out of another team that was desperate. " LOL! Talk about reaching for an excuse. I suppose you've also been abducted by aliens too huh? LOL! You guys crack me up sometimes. As for the Walker trade, that was pretty brilliant by Jimmy. Like I said Jimmy had as much to do with the Cowboys success as Jerry did, no denying that. The reason Jimmy didn't succeed in Miami is because he didn't have a GM like Jerry backing him up. If he did they would have won multiple titles. Again I can't stress enough how important research is. It's a fact that Jimmy wanted a stud DT with that top pick. It's not coincidence that he draft Maryland with the Cowboys first pick the very next year.
Watching the Texans play football is like watching a r****d trying to f*ck. LOL, I know you Texans fans are going to say something stupid too like "duh huh huh, you watch r****ds f#ck, well i dont so dont say stupid $hit like that
Why is anyone talking about the Oilers? Oilers who? This is a different franchise. The Oilers are dead....good riddance. If you want to talk about Dallas vs Houston go to the Hangout Forum. We're talking about the Houson Texans vs The Dallas Cowboys. The record of which stands at: Houston - 1 Dallas - 0 We got rid of the Oilers and their a$$hole owner. Dallas might follow our example if they knew what was good for them. btw, this is not directed at you, RC....
Monkey, you should also stop posting. You are a leading contributer to bad relations with all other football fans. I would rather have a real monkey represent Cowboys fans than you.
