Neutral Milk Hotel - Aeroplane Over the Sea Jesus. This album is unbelievable. I get shivers listening to it.
Is it really that good? I get a lot of recommendations for it, and have given previews a listen probably 10 times now, but just never hear enough to make me think "Man, I DO need that." Also, is it just me, or is the sound a little more raw than you'd expect on that?
it's just future you hinting you need to apologize to all the hipsters you've made fun of by specifically referencing pitchfork. since i like young me, i'll give you until the end of the year cause there were a lot of jokes.

A lot of new stuff that didn't disappoint. Superchunk (Majesty Shredding) - good in the way the last two Dinosaur Jr. albums were good...brings you back Sufjan Stevens (Age of Adz) - really weird and good and Electronic-y...sounds nothing like the last LP, but still has an epic quality to it Jamey Johnson (The Guitar Song) - I think this is the only modern day traditional country album I've ever bought...how come not many people makes non-pop-oriented country music like this any more? Maybe this is a turning point. Deerhunter (Halycon Digest) - Just awesome...quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.
Gorillaz. LAST FREAKING NIGHT. Anyone who missed it is a chump. One of the best shows I've EVER been to.
