is this talking about harvard undergrad or MBA? cuz nationwide 85% of students who graduated last year were planning to return home to live with their parents. That gives you an idea of how scary the job market is right now for new grads
You are looking at a very tough job market last year. Based on my contacts, this year's market is much much better. Second year students are usually getting multiple job offers.
That's the total cost for the two year online program 36 classes at 1.5 credits a class. Yeah it's expensive but it's a recognized highly ranked school instead of say the University of Phoenix and working two jobs I have to have a full online program. You get the same degree/diploma as if you attended in person.
I was really confused for a second. I was like what year is this?? lol To close the loop: I did not get a MBA or MHA. I did my Masters in Nursing (with a focus on Informatics rather than nurse practitioner or education etc.). In 2011 while working as a nurse I found a job that helped me transition into clinical IT world. Electronic medical record stuff. I have been doing that ever since. My buddy did his MBA at the same time I was doing my MS and he is also in clinical informatics now. My take is that these masters degrees don't help u land a job, they look good on a resume for a job you are already qualified for.
plus they make the business schools $60k to $70k in tuition each year per student. MBAs are good for business schools
Ideally the job would help pay for your upskill if they really need it. Grad degree specialization is usually worth more than a vanilla MBA. That's why they encourage working experience before you take the leap.
