The Nuggets brought Cook in for a workout after the Rockets cut him in Feb and decided not to sign him!!! Now watchout for B-Cook43's 50 point game against us!!!!!!
Try as he might, the indomitable defense of E. Boateng crumbled before the god-like skills of Brian "The Second Coming" Cook. I say we just have a special season to commemorate 2nd place in the league since Cook's on fire in the most decorated franchise of the league. It's not like we don't know who'll win all the season's accolades and championship. GO !

When will you people learn? This trade does NOT work under the salary cap!!! And Brian Cook cannot be traded until December 15. The Clippers unfortunately do not have enough salary filler to make this trade work. For as much as Denver would do that trade in a heartbeat, alas, it is just not possible. The Clippers should have spent all of their cap room on Cook, let him dominate the league for a couple of months, and then trade him for Melo straight up. Everybody wins. The Clippers get to sell more tickets with the more popular but inferior talent (Melo), while Denver gets the better player (Cook). Too bad the Clippers did not have this foresight.
