Personally I don't think the push was that bad. Space was created, but it is impossible to say if it was really because Andre put his elbow into his back or not. I mean, he was step for step with Andre, but Andre put his arm in his back as he came to a stop to catch the ball. Separation could have been as much from Andre's deceleration as it was from the elbow. And from what I remember seeing the replays over and over, Flowers hadn't even looked up for the ball yet. He had no idea where it was, so my guess is Andre catches that ball either way.

Is that difficult to understand? They are a talented team with poor coaching. Talent will get you so far, and poor coaching can sot you games. I think that is pretty clear.

What do you mean is that difficult to understand? No need to act like a pompous ass on an internet forum. Anyway, Kubiak is the one who brought in the talent we have. I want to know why people say it's on Kubiak when we lose, but when we win, it's because of the talent, in spite of the coaching. I'm not completely sold on Kubiak, but he does have the team at 4-2, with no conference (or divisional) losses.

I dont think the coaching is as bad as you say it is, and I dont think the talent (on defense) is as good as you think it is.

Fine, so make your beloved Kubes a scout and get somebody in here that knows how to call IN GAME plays for all that talent. There are way too many extremely questionable calls during the game. I'd have to agree that the coaching is poor, but the talent is good.

The problem on defense is the players are either really good, or not that great...there's not really a middle ground and unfortunately, teams are gunning for the weeknesses...ergo us being dead last in pass defense.

I agree with you..... this whole notion when we win its despite our coaching and lose bc of our coaching makes NO SENSE!!!!! how many plays are there where the players are open?? thats bc of the coaching scheme .. that play where OD catches the ball and runs for like 20 he runs a cross thats a planned route ...

who has worked with schaub to make him the caliber of the qb he is? oh the coaches

give the coaches SOME credit geeeezzzzzzzzz..

when a corner falls while guarding roy williams its frank bush's fault .. but when as a result of a zone blocking scheme put in by the coaches, ward breaks off a big run ... its bc of talent ..hmmmmm

This is true. They have legitimate Superstars in Cushing and Mario. A pro-bowler in Ryans and occasionally Pollard. They have no starting quality FS, DT, or CB which hurts a lot.

I never questioned the play calling on rushing plays. The play calling on passing downs has been atrocious however. Schaub was put into HORRIBLE situations in both the New York and Dallas game and often times even in the Oakland game.

do us a favor and don't quote his trolling. I'm a lazy guy, and would appreciate not having to scroll the mouse wheel when not necessary. ;)

The difference between Okoye and Pollard...

So basically, hey defense is going to have some bad games every now and then (in this case, every Sunday...)

Yeah...so the win was nice...but they have a lot of work to do.

Great to see the offense finally come alive. Nice win. I just don't know if I can stand the stress much longer. We need to blow a few teams out for my sanity, lol.

    A few thoughts...

First of all, Cushing is obviously not confident after being suspended, in my opinion. He looks hesitant, big time. Last year, he was diving into tackles to finish them off, and this year, he's standing there while others make the tackle. He looks like he's a step behind game-speed, too. I don't know what's going on. In a bit of irony, I wonder if he's added too much muscle in the weight room ( ).

The secondary is still looking atrocious. Hopefully the bye week will bring them some improvement. It seems like every play we get burned on, we're playing a zone. We constantly are having quarterbacks hitting the receiver underneath in a zone, and then the receiver, with some room, will get some yards after catch. Why don't we play more man? Or man with the safety in a zone? I know we do play some of it, but I'd like to see more. If memory serves me correct, I think these are the types of defense we were playing when Nolan picked his two passes off. Man with safety help over top. We have physical corners, and that's their best assets, but you can't use them too terribly much in a zone, in my opinion.

Good to see the pass rush finally come alive in the 4th quarter.

You hate to see Ryans going down like that. My first thought was achilles. I immediately said to my brother that it looked like he tore his achilles, just because of the way he went to jump, and got no lift. Sucks. I think he had a shot at making that play, too.

As much as I hate to say it: Please sign Merriman. The guy probably sucks, and definitely is on the juice, but in a year like this, where you're on the verge, you gotta take a chance. You hate to sign someone that has taken PEDS when you've had two suspensions for it, especially after the reputation McNair has established for this team, but I think you have to do it.

great win but the cheifs putting up 20+ and the texans relying on a last minute TD to win the game, at home, and AFTER they were embarrassed the 2 prior times at home does not lead to a lot of confidence in this team.

The defense is flat out horrible. It's comical to watch a team be able to pass for a first time pretty much at will. The player transition in zone coverage is terrible.

On offense, I hope they dont plan on using the long developing pass plays often. I can see how it works against KC because they run a pretty basic defense, but against more aggressive teams Matt is going to get hammered.

Lol what does the penalty being declined have to do with anything?

The Texas declined the penalty because they Andre caught the ball.

Brandon Flowers has every right to be pissed.

    Neil Rackers didn't win it.

Anyway, I'm happy with the result.
