How so? Relief? I don't think the BBS was all approving of the trade in the first place!

Ariza was a big loss. In fact most people only used the "salary-dumping and easing of the lux-tax burden" as a way to justify the trade. Because the talent level was a big net loss after the trade.

No I am not thank you very much.

I've provided more evidence than all the Ariza-haters ever did.

    OMFG...what evidence exactly?

    That you Liked him?

Yes, that is evident by the dumbassery on display by you in this very thread.

Was he a big loss....sure...he was a 6'8" guy that we jettisoned so fast it would make your head spin, so being tall made him big....

But capability wise? No, this team is better off without that whiny little crybaby worrying about his touches, and why the basketball seems to bounce like a rugby ball when he dribbles it.

Please stick to your word and leave us. We will all miss you greatly, but with you coming back and staying with this thread and defending your opinions over and over, we haven't gotten the opportunity to deal with our loss. So, please go away so we can start healing right away.

Your love for Ariza is crazy. He was a role player at best, never a superstar or a number one option for the Rockets. You keep saying he was the best player for the Rockets last season... Did you not see Brooks or Scola? I couldn't like that trade more, Lee is just as explosive and a better player in my opinion. In case you didn't notice you're the only person defending that scrub of a player. He shoots like shi* and was terrible from the line. He was hard to watch except when he was dunking that ball. Thank god we have budinger that can do everything Ariza could do as far as throwing down monster dunks and exciting the crowd.

    WHAT FREAKING TALENT?

Ariza is not talented at ANYTHING in the game of basketball.

Lee is a better shooter, dribbler, creator and its a wash defensively.

Ariza cant even hit a jumpshot on 2k11. shot a wide open three with the guy and he just keeps missing no matter how many open looks paul gets him. (unless its a dunk, or 15, and even he'll miss that).

    LOL!

yeah this had 2 be one of the worst games of the preseason, i get board watchin bud & lee throwing down monster ally-oop dunks, watchin ish doing between-the-legs passes, and i cant stand seein j-hill block shots n gorilla dunkin on ppl! total snooze-fest

if u dont think the new guys r excitin u needa get yer head chkd

not 2 mention AB0's dagger 3's, speed racer puttin ppl in the bonus b4 th 4th qtr cuz somehow no1 seems 2 b able 2 block that funky shot of his, luis "ironman" scola (scoop it AND shoot it) and of course the return of one the best center's in the league

if yer not excited bout this season u needa turn in yer fan card

But, the problem for Ariza was the stats:

    .394 (FG%)
    .334 (3P%)
    .649 (FT%)

    and

    13.9 (Shots per game)

[edit] I just realized that all of those stats are significantly worse than Artest's shooting stats the previous year, which were not exactly stellar.

OP is cementing himself in doubt.

When the Rockets do better this season with Lee, Bud, KM and anyone else at the 2 or 3, you will be embarrassed.

I like Trevor Ariza, but he wasn't a great fit on this team. Really, it's obvious to me, and I thought he would have some big seasons for us.

    Give this one up though.

Morey is a fool for trading ariza. Ariza became an efficient machine after the Martin trade.

    totally incorrect.

    you're the troll.

    I'm not trolling here.

You just like to think every negative idea about the Rockets is trolling.
