Well at least we had an awesome defense already so this won't hurt..............uhhh..........crap. I guess we will see how bad a defense can be in the NFL.
Thats a huge loss! Our linebackers were already busy making up for our bad secondary. Hopefully Adibi can step in and do well.

I assume Kevin Bently will be taking his spot As bad as this is for the team, I think Cushing is probably the most important linebacker, so it could be worst imo They don't play the same position

We're about to find out how important Demeco was to Cushing's success... if I had to choose one to lose for the season I might actually go with Cushing.
To People asking for Shawne Merriman: THEY DO NOT PLAY THE SAME POSITION, MERRIMAN WILL NOT TAKE RYANS' SPOT Merriman is an outside LB/DE, Demeco is a middle linebacker.
I dunno. Demeco was the Forgotten man. People give Cushing so much credit . . . he was D-Rook of the year but people seem to forget. . . Demeco won the same award a year earlier. [without overtraining] I think they both are very necessary Rocket River
I think Cushing is fully capable of doing what Demeco does, plus more, at least in terms of play on the field, not locker room presence. Bently will probably take over at MLB, but Cushing could also slide inside. IMO, Cushing is the best defensive player on this team.
I meant Diles. He would most likely move to the middle, with Adibi or Bentley taking Diles's spot. Also, i doubt Texans would look at Merriman since they didnt look at Schobel when we lost Barwin.
