Looks like meteors at first, but it stops, and becomes stationary for a while. Interesting to say the least.
With the base in El Paso, I bet they were those military flares that they drop from planes. They always look eerie in the sky.
While that is good reasoning.... if you think about it a little deeper even that doesn't make much sense. In an area where there is a base in El Paso, where it's known they drop flares in the air from planes, why would lights in the sky be a story at all? It's almost like when airplane pilots and air traffic control officers admit to seeing things, the government makes a joke out of them and makes fun of their intelligence to identify a military plane when they see one.
