You know without Keenum, this offense is scoring almost half as much it seems.

But, agreed. Absolutely no reason for a team, billed to be a BCS buster this year, should lose to Rice. And our Freshman QBs don't play defense. No excuse for an early 20-7 hole. No excuse to giving up 34 points.

Wait, so losing all those QB's caused the defense to give up 34 points to Rice? Come on Coogs, give some props to the Owls.

The Cougars haven't had a decent defense since like 1989 or thereabouts.

Miss. St. is for real, like in real good, beat Florida tonight, and UCLA can be really good when they want to (beat Texas on their home field), but Rice? How utterly embarrassing. It is understandable, that when you lose an All American QB they will be missed, but after a year to work on it and a new coordinator, the defense should not be this bad, as in horridly, awful bad. No excuse. And all that good feeling that had been built up over the last few seasons, kiss it goodbye. Back to Robertson as a ghost town. And recruiting goes back in the tank. How can you possibly recover from this low? Really a horrible shame.

There are probably high school teams that can put up 34 on that defense. Come on.

Anyone still think Kevin Sumlin will be head coach at OU in a couple of years? LOL!

Funny. You do realize that until Rice plays TSU, we will never know which Houston college team is the best. I suspect it would be a close game.

Besides, we all know that the champions of the city of Houston will not be determined until the Aggies and Longhorns play on Thanksgiving. Either one of those schools easily has ten times the following in Houston that Rice does.

And the Texans have even MORE fans in Houston. Maybe we should wait on them too. Maybe they should play the Owls to decide the city championship. I bet my high school could rival Rice in fans (since the attendence is about the same) so maybe we should wait for that matchup too?

...wait wait.... The Rockets have more fans too.

What about the Houston Symphony? Now THAT would be a fun matchup to watch!

Take it easy on him, Kros - he's a frustrated Aggie fan. His burden in life is great enough as it is

UH talking bowl smack is, uh, comical.

Rice has as many bowl wins in the last decade as coog does.

    1. scoreboard, brah
    2. You have exactly 1 win in all those bowl games. Equal to Rice's tally. *snicker*

Where were you last year when we broke the scoreboard on you??? You gloating over a win against the 4th string qb is pointless. Think the outcome would have been the same if Case was there? Hell no.

stick to wearing red wigs and acting goofy at Rockets games brah. Doesn't seem like posting online/comprehending English/attempting humor are your strongest qualities.

And if Case played for Rice, the margin of victory would have been even larger.

    *does jordan shrug*

Don't mind him, he just needs attention.

As for the game, I didn't get to go because of a work obligation, but either way, I wouldn't have wanted to go for fear of getting mugged at Texas' 3rd most crime ridden college campus.

Congrats to the Owls, here's to hoping Case gets his 6th year so he can get another shot at them.
