Surprised MW2 is still up there, its been out nearly a year The only game I bought last month was Halo: Reach
I am just PATIENTLY waiting for the November release of Grand Turismo 5, so I got pretty pissed seeing this today. ANOTHER friggin' delay. This game is basically the only reason I bought a PS3. Madden is fun to kill the time, as is Modern Warfare, but racing is my cheese!
It's weird how video game sales reports are so tightly controlled by one company. Sounds like everyone has at least put some numbers out except for Sony. Dead Rising is awesome. But, there's like a 5 dollar 'prequel' on Live that would tell you exactly what the game would have been like. You should have tried that first to see if it's your type of game.
Not surprised at who's at the top but Mafia 2 made the list? I thought I read somewhere that it tanked, hard.
I think it probably did (given expectations), but software sales have been pretty bad outside of the top selling games for a few months now. So yeah, we did get some more numbers (console numbers, most of sales for top 10, etc.). Not so bad I guess, though I'm not sure we'll get them every time.
