    My bad, guess I didn't realize everyone would think Yao is injured. It is an accurate title, so I'm going to keep it tho.

    What's everyone crying about?

    No one ever reports "So-and-so will be out for 18 games". It would read "So-and-so to be out 4-5 weeks".

    Also if Yao missing games gives you a heart-attack you must not follow the Rockets much.

    It's misleading. Yao "to" miss 18 games sounds like an event has just occurred to cause him to miss the next 18.

    Maybe if you said Yao "will" miss 18 games it wouldnt be so bad. But I'd still change it to "Yao will miss 18 games this season."

    Why be such an attention w****, clearly the garm agrees it's misleading.

    It would make more sense for the thread starter to say Yao to miss six weeks, but he's going to be precise and say 18 games.

    I would just like to discuss this deep and concerning issue, not create a stir. How should we handle these back to back games? I don't think Brad Miller and Hill can cover the 5.

    I was like crap, I spent a fortune on a season of floor seats and Yao is injured again. You are soo wrong for that!
