Hey guys, just wanted to pass it along. Angry Birds was released today (Oct 15) for the Android OS. Been playing it all morning, played the Beta until I had 3 stars on every level there, and the full version is much much awesome-er. Enjoy! Oh and don't let your kids see it, or you might not get your phone back...
I have it for iPhone 4. It was addicting but after getting all the stars and golden eggs my play dropped way off.
Ugh, must be a crapload of people trying to download. I've been trying to download for the past hour but can't get through. Can any of you upload it somewhere??
Man, this is the first time I've ever seen an android app where EVERY SINGLE REVIEW is 5 stars. Just downloaded it. Guess I'll have to give it a try on the bus this afternoon. Video poker was starting to get old anyway.
Got my download already, yes very suprised to see it was free. Expected to have to pay like $4.99 or something.
For those of you with HD2s, you'll notice the installation is unsuccessful after downloading. Unmount your SD card first, and then try downloading/installing.
Sweet, I'll have to try it. I hadn't searched for any new games lately, so while on the toilet yesterday I did so and found Fruit Ninja (also a popular iOS game -- I think it's in an iPad commercial) and Abduction 2.

I can't find it on the market. I'm trying to download it from Getjar now, but it's failed so far. I want to download this to play all night at work. I go in in about 2 hours. any help is appreciated.
Really? I type "Angry Birds" and hit search for all apps and I get Angry Birds Lite and a couple of spots down is Angry Birds. I have the Droid Incredible on Verizon. Edit: I tried to search again and it's showing up 2 spots down.
