As an office drone, there tends to be days that are slower than others. After hitting up the requisite sites that aren't blocked here (first and foremost being Clutchfans.net), I sometime end up surfing wikipedia pages to read about interesting people, subjects, countries, etc. It's just a way to satisfy my curiousity and kill time simultaneously.

So my question, obviously, is what are some of the most interesting wiki entries you've ever read?

    Some of my favorites:
D.B. Cooper (fascinating unsolved case): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DB_Cooper
    Kris Kristofferson (interesting life): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_Kristofferson
The Simpsons (when you're bored, reading recaps of good episodes is pretty fun): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Simpsons
    The Critic (see above):
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Critic
Houston (to read about the history): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houston
    Box Office Bombs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box_office_bomb
List of films considered the worst: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worst_movies_ever

Ever come across a compelling entry?

I do this at night when I can't fall asleep. I get on my phone and pick random subjects to read up on.

Try reading the pages on religions.......... Tons of stuff to get lost in.

Also, Palestine or Israel has interesting information.
