I voted for pf, we have enough offense in our team, without battier we would probably be like The phoenix suns with no defense at all. In order to be a championship team your going to have to stop these wing players. I love scola but there backups at the pf position has a big question mark if were in win now mode. Chase is a great scorer off the bench with solid defense so sf will not be my biggest concern especially with scolas weak defense on the lost post.

You make me not want to post on this board.
I don't think more than half the people here like you.

Not taking a shot at you...it is a reference to this post in the other thread...

    And this is my reply...

You mentioned "knowledgeable fan"...so it reminded me of that Sidarma dude...a knowledgeable fan who thought NBA teams play in superbowl... :)

Maybe you should not take what I say so seriously...and realize what emoticons are meant to convey.

I wasn't implying he should start over battier...but we're talking about the positions as whole, starter and back ups, compared to other positions. Chase's improvement gives us a much better SF rotation, regardless of who's playing more or starting.

Fans shouldnt be so quick to vote SF. We have yet to even see Miller and Yao will be playing limited minutes and has a while to go. As it stands, it has to be center.

And I agree with you, with small forward being a close second. This season also depends a great deal on what Shane has left in the tank and, of course, Chase's development. Still early days with Air Bud.

I am planning to organize a DD fan club. The membership fee is $19.99/month and first month free if you pay for the full year in advance. Do you want an application form to join?

I don't think that is a weakness, and it may turn out to be our greatest strength.

It WAS SF, but with the progress of Budinger, and the solidity of Shane Battier (Courtney Lee could probably see some time at the 3 too), SF should be good to start the season.

Surprised there aren't more votes for Center; Yao is still limited as to what he can do, and Brad Miller is still out with injuries.

    SF
    C
    PF
    PG
    SG

    In exactly that order. Period.
