And most of them were accumulated against UTEP, possibly the worst team in the nation and a team that gave up 77 points in the previous week to Kentucky. Not a good comparison.

And one of the 2 UT games was against UNT...not exactly in the FSU category. I'm not saying that Simms isn't a good QB...just that his stats were partially compiled against a very weak opponent. OU doesn't have the corner on the market on playing weak non-conference opponents.
As explained in the other threads, UNT is significantly better than UTEP. It's not to say that they are a good team, but UTEP is much, much worse than the average lower conference opponent.

Actually, Simms' "bad game" was against UNT. If you watched, which I assumed you didn't, that wasn't his fault. He was virtually flawless against a UNC team with two nfl corners. Bama's front 7 was impressive against ou, but their secondary was unimpressive. Bama also allowed 34 points against MTSU.
Mduke, I tried to post at soonerfans.com, but they don't allow new posters with email addresses from "mail.utexas.edu." In other words, no UT students can register. The good thing about soonerfans.com is that the whole community is like one big family - literally.
From reading the thread title, I was hoping this would be a thread with pics posted of hot chicks in the stands at UT football games, similar to this world cup thread. (Incidentally, I nominate that post in that thread as "Post of the Year." )
