Def my favorit one yet. Narrated by Vlade Divac. Tells the story of the Yugoslavian team and how it split up because of the civil war. Mainly focused on Drazen Petrovic and Vlades biggest regret of his life, and how things were left unspoken. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxOoceI_cNc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeeV3iRoTG4 (can someone embed these videos plz)
Really good episode tonight. Vlade seems like a great guy. Makes you wonder what Petrovic could have achieve but for his untimely death. And appearances by Rick Adelman and Clyde Drexler, too.
damn I turned off the TV as this came on, I was too pissed after watching that show about the Serbian college basketball kid get away with beating an American into r****dation (Luckily he gained most of his cognitive abilities back but his voice still sounds like he's mentally impaired).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dražen_Petrović Ok, it says he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and it was VW Golf.
Ya that really got to me as well. But i saw the preview earlier today so I knew i had to watch this  I still feel like I want more tho. I wish Vlade would of had the chance to talk things out with Drazen, but nothing can be done now since he passed away.
petro paved the way for many international players to come to the NBA. one of my favorite players of all time. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HjxIxAQXm8k?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HjxIxAQXm8k?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> some good footage of petro against MJ and when he was younger.

He probably could have achieved more had a rookie-hating Rick Adelman not buried him down on the depth chart for a year and a half in Portland. The guy could seriously have been the next (well predecessor to, technically) Kelenna Azubuike. Yep, that's right...I said it. Petrovic had Azubuike like potential. Just goes to show, 20 years later, RA hates rookies.
I see what you did there. And yes, Adelman hates talented young players. Gerald Wallace and Drazen Petrovic both showed themselves to be major talent after leaving that tyrant. No one JVG buried was ever that good.
You can make a case that the Blazers win some titles if Clyde is moved to small forward and/or Danny Ainge has his minutes drasticly reduced. Petrovic would have been a hall of famer.
And, if one believes in the butterfly effect, he would not have ended up on that autobahn at that particular time and could still be alive today. Just sayin'.
