this will be added to my sunday lineup of desperate housewives, brothers & sisters, and keeping up with kardashians. thank god for DVR and i feel bad for hubby so some manly tv will make him happy!
Got my first glance at it last night and have to say, it is very well done. Steve B. is a darn good actor and his supporting cast looks strong. I'll be watching from here on out.
Looking at Kardashian's booty is pretty manly. Just saying.... I watched Boardwalk and actually enjoyed it. Adding it to my list.
I watched the first episode and I have to say I was impressed. I'll gladly give this show some space on my DVR.
"This is America, isn't it? Who the ****'s stopping you!?" Just awesome. The writing and cadence of the dialogue was just as good as...well, the Sopranos. I wonder how much of the show is going to focus on the goings-on in Chicago. By the way, the show looked like a million bucks. With the high quality of television shows these days, movies are becoming less and less interesting to me with every passing year.
Sorry, I can't help but chip away at this. CBS is coupled with Viacom and both are still essentially controlled by Redstone. Secondly, Time Warner and CBS are both still global media conglomerates; not really sure why an individual producer/director would hold one's relative size against the other. Your comparison also implies that there are no other top flight filmmakers in the entire industry that are working for CBS, which owns the most watched network on television and Paramount TV, which I think is the largest producer of individual TV series other than WB (one of the reasons UPN and WB networks were created). Not that I necessarily disagree with your original prediction, as Showtime is basically just an uncensored broadcast network.
The dead girl on the table had some major bush! I'm thinking it was a merkin because it just didn't look natural. Good show though.
I freaking hate that I missed this after specifically wanting to watch the series and the DVR having a function to record the series. Good thing HBO usually airs their series all at once some point during the year.
