You are wrong, sir. "The Passion Assassin" is the worst nickname ever. And DaDakota made a thread about calling Scola that.
Agreed. Might be the worst nickname suggestion of all times. "Hey Malik Bad Man Badine, I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but The Passion Assassin is the worst nickname of all times!!
"The Ice Cream Man" sounds about right for me. I agree with many of the posters though, he plays like a very clever beast out on the court.
Nothing baby, that is still his nickname !!! It works on every level: He plays with passion and is an assassin, or he assassinates the other team's passion with his play. You guys that don't get it, are just not as much of a visionary as I clearly am. DD
Ever since Worrell started calling him the ice cream man his scoops have been getting ridiculous. And not in a good way. Ergo he's scooping from like 8ft out and missing badly. We're probably making him all self-conscious about this stuff. The scoop needs to go away for a little while.
My friends and I call him Day Man, because he's The Champion of the Sun. It would be awesome if that caught on, just so the PA announcer could play the song when he scores. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2pzABURlha8?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2pzABURlha8?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
If it ain't Ice Cream Man or Mr. Double Double, it has to be Hustle Man , because he be working people down low to get his.
I think Luis "the scoop" Scola is better than "the ice cream man". Don't get me started on Passion Assassin or Argentine Workhorse. Nicknames usually have less syllables than full names, for starters.... LOL.
My dad calls him "Pistola" (means pistol in Spanish and rhythms with scola) Although, His game isn't like pistol pete, I've thought it was alright
