    What's really funny is that I figured out the Jordan Hill reference, but didn't realize the Patterson reference until it was pointed out below. I was like "OK Jordan Hill and who?"

    First thought that went though my head. "What a [freakin'] idiot." Just by the title I figured the OP wanted attention. Yes, I thought he was referring to Hill and Patterson, but I had enough common sense to know they weren't really waived, and that the OP was being facetious. Once I actually opened the thread I realized he was just being clever.

    I never thought about Hill and Patterson.
    It would be just stupid to waive your 1st round draft pick, a lottery pick btw, before he played any regular season game.
