Some of the moves were like replays, in that it was really slow. They're effective for the most part though, I hope we get the same results against better teams. Thanks for the quick vid!
Thanks, Clutch. Yao looks great. I don't think he should dive for that loose ball in a preseason game, make my heart jumps out. Yao looks very quick, much better than last game. Did you see that quick dunk Yao did after a rebound. I think he's going to be ok this season. IF we get the old dominating Yao back, I still don't see any center can stop him.
nobody noticed that he is still very careful on jumping by his feet? he is still on the way to get confidence on using his feet. In 20 games, he will be close to what he is used to be as long as he doesn't get hurt again.
He looks just as skilled as he did when he left. I just hope that he's okay because he's always grimacing.
Even at this stage of his comeback one could already see his impact on the team on both sides of the court. Yao's presence really makes the Rockets very potent. He also showed a steady improvement in his game and he is regaining his timing. Ref Tony Brown is already in mid season form as far as making calls against Yao. He called a travel on Yao but did not call an offensive foul on Hansbrough who clearly initiated the contact on Yao. I hope the officiating on Yao is better this time around but I am very skeptical about it. Tony Brown has just shown that his either inept or prejucial officiating of Yao has not changed.
Yea, Yao looked a lot better in this footage. I also like the way Kevin Martin and Yao have played off of each other.
WOW, so you guys are perfectly okay with Yao not diving for a loose ball but when TMac doesn't dive for one, you guys call him She-Mac and all sorts of names. Yall are RIDICULOUS with your double standards!
Really? As far as I remember he's NEVER been quick, that's not what made him the player he was so I don't get when people here keep saying what you posted. His game is more about timing, he's a mechanical type player, so as far as I see, there should be nothing that keeps him from getting where he was (other than age).
Best he has looked so far, very, very encouraging. IF he returns to form, this team will be a load. For the first time in a long time, the Rockets can run talent at you all night.
He's finding a good way to rebound--tip the ball up to himself first. Great basketball IQ You can see from this game--that Yao really wants to play. He's ready to hustle in the limited minutes given him.
Why the **** is he diving for loose balls, he shouldn't even be doing that in a regular season game, save the diving for the playoffs!
