And I'm keeping in mind that the rap game has been weak for a while now but with Game, Lupe, Cudi, Jay Electron, Currensy, Wale, J-Cole, and even the new Reflection Eternal and Roots holding things down, I'm sure we can all come up with individual top 20's that don't have Best I ever had in there.

I'm not a Drake fan, don't like his delivery and his lyrics. The less said about Nikki Minaj the better and wtf is that abomination Soulja boy still doing releasing new stuff? Thanks for blessing us with the massive turd know as Pretty Boy Swag. If you can listen to that crap from start to finish and not lose any brain cells then you are special.

 

I love that people were surprised at the Drake hate. I thought it was common knowledge drake isn't one of the best out there, even though he is quite popular. Drake is for little kids and young women, I hope any 17 or older male feels stupid for thinking Drake is a good rap artist. He is nothing but a product being marketed well, I still can't believe the radio has convinced people his lyrics are high caliber, man people are dumb aren't they? I hate how the radio is programming people these days.

I just heard the Deuces remix and damn Chris Brown for even including Drake on it.
First off: I never in a million years thought I'd ever sing-along to a Chris Brown song but damn that's a good song, especially after a break-up. I love that joint.

Back to the topic- Andre 3000, TI, Fabolous and Drake all had crap verses while Kanye's was decent on that remix. Drake though, just makes me angry when he gets more than a couple of bars on any good song. This one for example.

Tired of people complaining about hip hop. Hip Hop is not dead. Good music is always around. It's like a grocery store. There are so many different types of hip hop out there to pick and choose from. Anyone can enjoy it. There's always something out there for everyone.

 

Drake blows, and If Hip Hop is not dead, it has long past it's prime.

i can bump scarface- the diary all day but then again i and other people like to switch it up with something other than rap about killing, selling drugs, depressing themes, etc.

 

You've got to realize that in the day and age we live in, people view Soulja Boy as a hip-hop icon. Honestly compared to the new age of rappers, Drake is def. one of the better ones. He also has a decent singing voice.

And Drake is the complete opposite of a gangster rapper, he didn't come out the hood like basically everyone else in the game so it's nice to hear someone talk about something different that other people NOT from the hood can relate to.

Seriously though we all know that nowadays once someone hits the big time, their quality of music drops, just take a listen to one of his first mixtapes "Comeback Season".

On top of all this, HE REPS HOUSTON LIKE NO OTHER. That should be enough
