I remember him in defending someone on a fast break and getting caught up in the air, when he came down he was holding his arm or hand. At the moment I thought he might have jammed his finger. I hope it isn’t serious, we need him healthy.
Yet another chain in the argument that, although AB is an all around more explosive player, lowry would fit better as the starter. He has proven more effective than AB at getting the ball to Yao and would help cover Kmart a little on defense. Meanwhile, in the second unit, AB could still free lance and do what he does best. The only main adavantage I see that AB provides over Lowry in the starting unit is the 3 ball.
When? That is so ridiculous. Lowry just played here one and half seasons. But, Yao missed entire last season. Even for the half season that they played together, Brooks was the starting PG, and Brooks and Yao played more together. Plus, as starting PG and C, Brooks and Yao and rockets passed the 1st round. That was the only time to pass the 1st round for both Yao and Brooks in their careers. I think they are good fit.
When did he prove that? Last year? Wait, that's right, Yao didn't play last year. 2 years ago? Wait, Lowry didn't even play 30 games with the Rockets 2 years ago, and came off the bench so he wasn't on the floor with Yao that much. So when did this happen? Edit: dang, beat me to it. If Lowry hurt something he might have an excuse for Parker blowing by him at will last night. His reputation as a defensive stalwart here could not be more exaggerated.
How many injuries has he had? How did they happen? When, at the end of his career? Yeah, because it's not likely for a pro athlete to suffer a few injuries during his career Very few athletes make it the length of their career without a few injuries...the only difference is the severity of them and how/why they happened, but based on your logic every player out there is injury prone.
they showed a closeup of lowry and his biceps looked HUGE i don't know if this will affect his game that much since he was already a physical type of PG
Dude, ur a dumbass... any rockets fan knows he is crucial to the team. when did our season go downhill last year? when lowry was injured... trading him would be an idiotic move!
How dare you people have fun on an internet message board when we are discussing an unsubstantiated rumor.... Shame on all of you....a pox...a pox I say !!! DD
I believe you, can't wait for you to reveal the nature of the MRI and the results before the Rox announce it. DD
1. Ariza and Lowry were injured at the same time last season. So, not sure who is more crucial. 2. Last year, we didn't have a 3rd PG. So, when Lowry is down, we didn't have a backup PG. That doesn't mean he is a great PG. 3. If you use his injury to prove his importance, that would only prove my point- he is an injury prone.
From Feigan's blog: I heard that Lowry is getting a MRI today, is that true? Also, how's Brad Miller's status? (Rockets called MRI precautionary. Lowry's right knee is sore. No results yet. Miller hopes to play in China. -- Jonathan)
if KLow7 is injured, are we signing Patrick Mills as an insurance since we've hired a new scout from St. Mary's?
Jonathan_Feigen Jonathan Feigen Kyle Lowry out for at least the back-to-back with the knee bruise suffered in camp. Struggled big-time last night. #hounews
