Does this make AP more valuable for the Vikings, or will Pappa Favre start thinking he's in his early 30s instead of 40s and start slingin it like crazy again?

Welker's stock should be thru the roof in fantasy right now. YES!

    My 2 cents:
Welker will be targeted more, but unless Tate is as good as the Pats must think, it won't necessarily mean a major boost to Welker's production since Moss won't be there to spread the defenses thin.

    Tate- Deep
    Hernandez- Everywhere
Welker and Edelman- short routes from slot
    Gronkowski- Red zone
Woodhead- is a player as well. He does a little bit of everything and does it well. Reminds me of "RUDY".

I Think Brady has much more to prove now and he's still got a ton of weapons to be successful. He's probably going to play with a chip on his shoulder to prove that it wasn't all Moss that helped him with his huge numbers and play... same thing for Welker for the people that are saying Welker only played well because of all the attention Moss got.

If the Vikings were smart they would utilize both to their fullest capacity but I bet Favre goes full on Gunslinger mode and Brad Childress isn't competent enough to utilize AP. The good news is AP will probably be healthy with the less touches

I don't think Brady has anything to prove. He won three Super Bowls without Moss.

I agree. But I think deep inside himself he does.... and that's what makes him so great and that's what separates good players from the HOF'ers.

    Why?

It's not like the Patriots force a lot of passes Moss way.

Running Moss deep every play and forcing safeties to help on him clears the underneath part of the field for Welker. It will be interesting to see if people start packing the middle of the field more now.

No but now that Moss is out Welker will definitely be the number one target.

I think I want to trade him for someone of higher value that was selected in lower rounds in my league. We have this weird keeper league where you CAN'T keep the top three players you drafted.

But anyone drafted from their on would cost you almost next to nothing, if say you drafted Mark Sanchez in the 12th round. That's about all he would cost you. Stupid but pretty cool I know.

yeah, I'd recommend you trade him to someone who doesn't know better right away. Welker's about to be a deer in the headlights.

Lol at People thinking Welker is just gonna become useless....Moss had nothing to do with him burning CBs off the line.

The D still has to cover who ever takes Moss' spot.
