i am getting it via league pass on directv if you leave now you should be able to make here to catch the second half you know
That is kind of true.. They have no competition anymore with Circuit City going bankrupt.. Fry's and maybe Walmart are kinda their competition I suppose but not really
I wouldn't trust the 0% off offers either, unless you are absolutely sure you'll pay it off way before it's due. The penalty for being late is too much. Personally, if i can wait 3 months to save up for it, then the buildup will make it that much better. That said I do have some furniture on a no interest deal, but it required a regular monthly payment so it is much easier to keep track of, and I need to save up my cash at the time I bought it.
haha.. that's true.. but LA traffic is just brutal Oh man I didnt know it was on LP already.. I'll have to see if i can get access.. This season is going to be awesome! I'm eying the Clipper games on Dec 22nd. Are you going to that game?
yeah i am planning to go to that game i havent looked at tickets yet but will shoot you an email when I do or if you come across a good deal let me know
I opened a BB no interest for one year credit card to buy a TV. I haven't used the card since, but I haven't cancelled it either. Knowing it's automatically cancelled doesn't bother me. I have no use for the card and knowing that someone else can't steal my identity to use the card without my knowledge is a relief. If I buy another item, I'll open another account. PS BB's deal required a minimum monthly payment. And yes if you miss a payment or don't pay it off in time, they can retroactively charge you interest. Don't know how much but I bet it's a shiet load.
WOW, that's very st range, did you talk to the general manager, he must have some explanation, I mean WTF.
I understand your frustration with the card issue, but it's no reason to take it out on the associates. They literally can't do anything but attempt to open a new account for you. They have their hotline to call, and basically that's it. I've heard about crap like that happening and accounts closed due to no activity, strange it happened after a purchase 2 days prior.
i didnt take it out on the associate i was taking it out on the person on the other end of the line at their credit department the associate was nice and friendly and asked if she could make a photocopy of the B&B coupon I had which i said sure while i was on the line with their credit people.
I never need anything that urgently I need to step into Best Buy for the most part. I can buy everything on Amazon.com
Micro Center on 610 and San Felipe. That store is vastly underrated and they have just as good if not better deals than Fry's. Also, BB is incompetent but sometimes it works for you. I pre-ordered Starcraft 2 and went to the midnight release to pick up my copy. First one in line, had a new guy bring up my order and he gave me the Collector's Edition on accident. I just said "well alright" and left.
I imagine it was a timing issue. Your 09/21 purchase probably didn't post until after the 'cancel due to inactivity' went through their system. It is odd that they would close any account that is and has been in good standing.
Personally, I have never had anything other than a good experience with Best Buy (knock on wood). Every time I have bought something that was eligible for a price match they did so with no problems. When I bought something and they put it on sale a week later and/or offered something free with purchase, they have always discounted the price and given me the free item with no problem. The few times I have needed any warranty service it was done with no problems and completed when promised (or earlier). They have handled my returns without issue. Their prices are certainly competitive and 0% for 6 months or more is a good selling point. The only thing I would change is to not have 5+ different people come up to me and ask if they can help me find something. That is annoying and I have mentioned it to their managers when it occurs. The should hand out lanyards that say "no thanks, just browsing" for folks to wear while in the store.
