In other news, this is the first Jermaine Taylor related news we've heard of this training camp.

Ariza was a brick layer not a star.

He was a better option at SF than what we have now.

Jeffries is more of a 3 than patterson. If someone goes down, jeffries would probably play there before patterson.

I'll have to disagree with those who say he can't play the 3 spot.

Defensively the guy is more than quick enough to guard the 3 spot. He proved it In the lane-agility test(which is a good indicator of quick feet) he tested faster than the top two drafted SF (Wesley Johnson and Al-Farouq Aminu) of the 2010 NBA Draft class. If you combine his quick feet with his length(7'1 wingspan and 8'11 standing reach) you get an Ideal SF on the defensive end.

Offensively all he has to do is spot-up for three and he'd be the equivalent to Shane on the offensive side of the ball. :p ... But luckily for us, he can do a lot more than that offensively from slashing to posting up, as well as spotting up for the occasional three!

I don't think Feigen has a clue what's going on at times. Remember how in the know he was about Carl Landry after the first summer and training camp? It wasn't until Landry got that rebound dunk off of Tim Duncan that anyone started talking about him at all.

I'm certainly not going to believe that Patterson is being considered at the 3 just because Feigen says it. This kid has all the pieces together, we'll let him develop naturally in the same way that Carl did.

I liked seeing Patman hustle up and down the court aggressively going after rebounds. I think that third team should have had more than 6-7 minutes to play. It's just a pre-season game. I think they should play most of the pre-season games anyway.

It's funny how we supposedly had a "logjam" at small forward before we traded Ariza, but now with Buddinger and on-his-last-legs-Battier, we're one injury away from it being our weakest position by far. There was never a logjam at SF.

Do you think Courtney Lee can play the 3?

Yes, absolutely - but only in a small line-up.
